In church schools, people study the Law of God, biblical history, Holy Scripture, the fundamentals of the faith, liturgy, church singing, and fine arts. In addition to classes, they participate in worship services, in parish events, in fairs, in religious holidays.

LAND ACKNOWLEDGEMENT.

We acknowledge that we operate on treaty land, referred to as Treaty 6 Territory and that the City of Humboldt and all those who reside in the city and the communities surrounding that land are beneficiaries of this treaty.

Treaty 6, the lands of the Cree, Dakota, Nakota, Salteaux and the homeland of the Metis Nation.

With commitment, and in the spirit of respect for the Truth and Reconciliation Commission of Canada’s Call to Action #93 Prairie Gateway Settlement Services (PGSS) works to bring our clients and Indigenous peoples together. We acknowledge the history of this land and are thankful for opportunities to walk together in friendship and promote positive change.
